2. Tedious Washing Process: Before cleaning, you must manually pull out every metal rod and untie the lift strings. Because the plastic or metal rings are permanently sewn onto the fabric, they rub against the drum inside the washing machine, causing premature wear and tear.
3. Difficult Reassembly: Re-threading and re-tying the strings evenly requires experience. If tied unevenly, the blind will lift at an awkward slant.
